Runner's Pie

Tuesday nights have become Pizza nights, so Chefs Paco, Brigitte and I aim to try something different each time. Tonight's was similar to last week: It became

Whole Wheat Herb dough stuffed with spinach and feta, topped with garlic, tomatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, artichokes, chicken, and Asiago cheese.

In the process of cooking, Miles was spazzing about, finding anything he could chew on, trying to make it edible.

Brigitte rolled out the dough, we stuffed it with the fresh spinach and feta, and pre-baked it for ten minutes.

Meanwhile, Chef Paco grated fresh garlic over the sauteed vegetables.

The chicken was George-Foreman-ed and spiced

The sauce was spread, the vegetables and chicken on top, sprinkled with the Asiago, and it was popped back in the oven for another ten minutes.
Chef Paco decided to grab the pan as Brigitte was cutting into it...

Paco: "OW, &%#$#*!@ That's HOT!
Brigitte: "Well you DID just stick your hand on a pan that came straight from the oven...

Of course, Miles went for the Pizza several times...

Most common phrase of the night: "MILES, NO!"
If he had a treat for every time I have to tell him that, he'd be a fat, fat dog.
