Appetizers

We were entertaining some Italian guests this weekend, so I decided to experiment with some appetizers. 

My mom made a Portabella Mushroom Canadian Bacon Asparagus Quiche

 I made Proscuitto wrapped Melon...

 And Proscuitto wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese

French Apple Tart

1 Pillsbury pie crust

5 medium granny smith apples

1 cup of chopped walnuts

1 cup of unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup of apricot jam

Order of assembly: 

Piecrust

Applesauce

walnuts

Thinly sliced apples

Glazed with the apricot jam. 

Light and tasty dessert!!

I'm a little behind on posts, but Miles was a good sport on New Year's...

 Miles and I go back to Charlottesville for our last semester, and then Physical Therapy School next year!

They will miss each other...
